Large ladies´ torque

Typical jewel made of twined wire originating from a woman´s grave of the Baltic tribe of Prussians (north-eastern Poland) from the 10th century. It was found at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and it cannot be exactly located any longer. Anyway, it belongs to the group of rich Prussian burial grounds in the today´s north-eastern Poland. Similar torques are typical in this region and they were not made in other Baltic tribes of that time.
