Amber

The Baltic Sea coast is the biggest source of amber in the world. Amber has been very popular since the prehistoric time for making different types of ornaments or jewels. Raw amber has been distributed as far es to Central Bohemia and Moravia where amber workshops are proved. The final products have been redistributed to other settlements. These amber pearls are from the hoard in Mříč – Dívčí kámen.
